Nourhane believes in the importance of engaging the financial sector to achieve social and environmental development objectives and wishes to contribute to simplifying the complexities of sustainability into business relevancy.

Nourhane joined Millani in September 2020. An economist by training, Nourhane has close to 10 years of Canadian and international experience in finance, shareholder engagement, and responsible investing.
After working for several years in corporate and investment banking supporting organizations of all sizes across various sectors at Citibank, she joined the Trottier Family Foundation where she led the design and implementation of sustainable finance and impact investing strategies and frameworks. As Director at Millani, Nourhane has extensive experience in ESG assessments and in helping investors and corporates integrate ESG factors in their investment and reporting processes.

Nourhane uses leverages her expertise in finance and her passion for sustainability to support organizations in navigating the new business paradigm and create lasting value for all stakeholders through better integration of sustainability principles. She also participated in establishing the Sustainability Ecosystem, a think tank aiming to advance sustainable business practices in Montreal and beyond.

Nourhane holds a BA in Economics and International Development Studies with a concentration on Environment from McGill University, as well as an MBA from HEC Montréal. Nourhane has native fluency in Arabic and English. She is also conversational in French.
